Re: Why a Website - Never Used?

I found, regardless of RR Forum or Facebook, that it's iffy that paddlers show up as planned or as stated to this or that place. So, I sorta use an algorithm to decide when and where to go paddle. First, travel gas money and time (it was suggested time paddling should exceed time traveled). Then check RR river levels, e.g. is the Verm about 160cfs or Kettle above 5.0 or below 6.5 ft. Then is there an event, e.g. is everyone going somewhere else? Then is simply gorgeous out. Then does the wife or the Community Center have me scheduled? These and more factors overrule any posting online since I've gone and no one showed up anyway, many times. Just my input.
