Heads up! The feature that used to be a beautiful green surf wave, directly across from the mini-falls on Blueberry Slide -- has been destroyed. The reason for this is a submerged rock that's lodged several feet out from river left and a foot or so above where the wave used to break. One of our buddies on a simple ferry to catch the small window of surf pile that still exists, got absolutely creamed and torqued into the bottom yesterday when he hit the hidden rock. Some may also refer to this feature as the "Downtown Wave" or third in the Blueberry Slide series. This was at a bridge gauge of 2ft., 750CFS. A Spring ice flow may knock this rock downstream which I believe used to "live" right behind the "Uptown Wave" last year. So keep your fingers crossed. But for the rest of this summer -- be aware!!!
