In anticipation of Spring Thaw, ther a figurin ta make the shuttle tougher.
Here's a post from the SW newspaper from MDOT regarding Jordan:
"Beginning Mon, March 9, construction crews will close Hwy 21 between Mill St. and south of the Sand Creek bridge to:
-Replace two bridges over Sand Creek and the Union Pacific railroad.
-Build a trail for pedestrians and bicyclists between Mill St. and the Sand Creek bridge.
-Reconstruct Hwy 21 between Mill St. and south of the Sand Creek bridge.
Drivers will be detoured to Sawmill Rd./Old Hwy 169, Hwy 59/Delaware Ave., Hwy 169, Hwy 282 and Hwy 21.
Motorists [e.g. kayakers] are encouraged to allow for extra time and plan ahead".
[duh]
This means if you're a wanting to run those feeder creeks up Sawmill, it might be a hassle. But leaving the dam parking lot and heading up to the normal put-in shouldnt be affected.
From Lions park takeout to put-ins, good luck.
Still lotsa full-river trees out there be careful. I ordered up typhoon rains to help up the dam pourover.
